I am trying to access my factory radio for my 1999 MC, so I can wire in an adaptor for the XM radio. Can anyone help me with the best way to get behind the dash?

there are 2 screws by your knees on the drivers side take then out then pop off dash cover you will have to put stering wheel to full down poshion and it will take a little tweeking to get that small compartment on the left side of the stearing wheel out of its spot once you get that out the radio is exposed. The rest just pops off or out just depends on what direction everything will come with little to moderet force just be pashent and if you dont wana buy a new one don't try takeing it off. Well that what I do anyways.

Thanks a lot man-
Everything came off fine without a hitch. Got a little nervous with all the popping sounds but everything came off fine and I got the stuff installed. Even got to detail the inside a little and the interior looks like new - almost. Thanks again- |
