Re: 95 cutlass supreme water in my backseat
I have the same problem, but I don't use my A/C so I'm guessing the two aren't connected. It seems to happen in mine every time it rains hard, whether I drive it or not. The puddle shows up on the floor in the back seat, and I also found water in the spare tire space in the trunk. If it goes a couple of weeks without raining, and I take out the floor mats, it will dry up. The trunk seal looks OK. If anyone has a solution to this problem, PLEASE post. I'm thinking about selling soon if I don't figure this out.

Re: 95 cutlass supreme water in my backseat
The air conditioning cooling coil collects condensation that drips through a tube (I think it is a tube) to the outside of the car, generally behind the front passenger tire. Look and see if you can find a hole tube underneath the front of the passenger compartment that may be blocked. I think the resevoir under the coil could be overflowing. Feel the carpet in the front passenger floor if it is wet that is more than likely the problem. If you can't find a hole or tube from underneath you will probably have to tear the heater/cooling core compartment open and find it, but that alway suck in a big pain in the @$$ way. Good luck! Nate

Water leaks in your cutlass ciera
Hello Everyone. My Name Is Jordan. Anyways People Who Have Water Leaks In Your Cutlass Ciera Is Do To The Heater Core In Your Car.
Basically The Heater Core And The Ac Unit Are All In One So If You Got A Water Leak In The Car The Take It To A Mechanic And Have Them Bypass The Heater Core. This Is A In Expensive Way To Fix The Problem Without Hittin Your Pockets For Cash, But If You Are In A Place Where U Need The Heat In your Car Then It Will Cost Much Greater Because You Will Have To Get The Whole Unit Replaced. Hope This Info Helps You Out!!! |
