2002 Caravan Hesitates and Dies

Just got back from vacation and my 2002 Caravan started acting up. It has a 3.3L in it. When you start it it starts fine but if you barely touch the gas pedal it will die. If it doesn't die it will cut out it will also die sometimes when it's warmed up and you pull up to a stoplight and try to take off. It runs good at highway speeds and seems to idle fine.. The check engine light doesn't come on. My guess maybe a fuel filter or EGR valve or does this engine have a EGR valve? Is the fuel filter in the gas tank?
