stiff pedal and pinstriping

hey guys, i've been wondering about my gas pedal if it's supposed to be as stiff as it is. it feels like my foot is on the floor, the thing's like a brick! my freakin knee hurts after driving because i have to put so much weight on it. i got all up in the cables with wd-40, but it didn't do all that much. is there something i can adjust, maybe the cable?

also, there's painted-on pinstriping running along my car. now, i'm the master of that vinyl crap pinstriping, i hate it, so i always take it off my cars. but i can't get this off without taking off the underlying paint, can i? this sucks, it's so ugly.

thanks guys. kisses.

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

yea, the pin stripping should just peel off.. just take it easy and becareful... just dont use anything but fingers to peel it off, slow and study and it should come off in no time.

Cover it up with a vinyl strip of your car's color, I think that's the best, and possibly cheapest way. About your gas pedal, my friend's firebird has he same problem where it like BARELY moves, right? And you're like going WOT.

lol, i was just about to suggest running to auto zone and getting that touch up paint for small scratches and shit and just painting over it (in your cars color)

Re: stiff pedal and pinstriping

Add more and make it look cool??? Put dots all over, put jeg's edelbrck, holley, etc stickers all over it so that you can't see it???? I don't know. If it's painted on I think you're kind of screwed unless you want to cover it with something or re-paint it. Might wanna ask a body person though.
