Hey, New to the site. Wanted to see if anyone could help with this problem. My heater does not get hot, neither does my defroster. And my AC is not cooling right either. I have checked the fuses, they are all ok. I have a 2000 S-10 ZR2 4x4.
Thanks James |

Re: ac/heater
warm your truck, and then turn on your heater on defrost or in any position. go under the hood and feel both intake and outlet hoses of your heater core. both
should be hot, if one is cool to cold( that would be your outlet hose) , then your heater core isnt cycling coolant which is where you get your heat from. so you could figure on blocked or air locked. what i did to mine was disconnct both hoses, not from the core but the other ends, and flushed it with water hose. put water hose to the outlet to run it out the inlet(reverse flush). |

Re: ac/heater
take it to the shop for the AC prob have your compressor looked at and possible the whole system re-charged... heating wise, never had a problem, dont know.
