Angry help on buget engine swap

hi ppl im new to this forum and im fom australia,and over her ppl go for for v8's not 4's .and there aint that many honda floating round either.

now for my swap ,cause there isnt many hondas here my engine swap r limited ,im running a d15z1( 1.5 vtec -e sohc) and im sick of it so i was thinking on doing a swap to either a b18a1 (92 integra )or b20a6 (1990 prelude si)as u may no neither have vtec but that okay because lucky 1 tunning shop has a turbo kit for a b18 ,will the kit fit on a b20 or will the manifold have to be changed?how hard will the swap be ?which of the two would be a better (easier swap).cause ill be going turbo am i right by not wasting money on a vtec engine or a ls/vtec conversion?all im after is a high 13 1/4mile ,ill have the basic mods like exhaust ,filter,intercooler,injectors,etc , should that be hard to get?and comments or links would be great!

all i seem to find is fuck crv b20 info ,is that the same engine ?

p.s i was thinking of a d16z1 but i cant get 1 over here

Well go with b18. B20 is almost the same engine. It has more torque also. Just go with a b18 and u can hit 13's second easily but not with just bolt ons though. Upgrade your fuel and i would suggest to get stronger rods and pistons. You can definatley hit 13 no problem. Some guy that my bro talks to hit 12's on a ls motor with a STOCK bottom end. The swap is also cheaper. Oh and welcome to AF!

well i went sick last night looking for info and i found nothing on a ls but i found something pretty good on the b20 .well the b20a was 1 of the worst honda motors ever made the rod stroke was just stupid and as to ne turbo mods it wouldn't last long,u could change the cranks with a b18 but why would i was more money when a b18 is cheaper so im just spending more money building a b20a true?id perfer to fit a b16 head and b18c intake manifold and have a almost perfect 174.1 r/s !that would be perfect for turbo !but for now im not that interested in vtec ,ive been in a intergra type R and 7,000rpm is a long time to wait for vtec to kick in ,compared to like 3,000rpm with boost,plus if i get vtec il need to buy a vafc and god no's what else ,im just not that impressed wiht vtec nemore

p.s was that 12 sec LS ,a vtec? do u no what he was running ?how quick can a stock ls motor rev ,compared to dohc vtec

It was stock bottom end. NO V-TEC though. He upgrade his fuel and thats all i know man.
