best suspension set up?
hey i have a 95 civic si and i want to get a set of coilovers for it, i've narrowed it down to Tanabe sustec pro so-c, jic flt-1us, and the tein driving spec super street, if I got one of these, would i have to by anything else, and also if there are any other coilovers out there that would not be too expensive but provide good handling let me know!

Re: best suspension set up?
Spend the extra $$$$ for adjustable dampening. There are many good fully adjustable coilovers out there. A few that I have exp. with H&R, Koni, Tanabe, HKS, Toda, Tein. www.modacar.com has a good sized assortment.
To get the most out of your adjustments you WILL need camber kits. Pillow ball mounts are an option. Also don't forget to have the car aligned after every height adjustment and after first install, corner weighting is optional(i recommend it). A few other things related to improved handling 1. Good tires 2. Rear sway bar / front 3. Upper/lower tie bars In order of importance. |
