Exclamation His and Hers Mopars

Well this is kind of a side by side build that my girlfriend and I did. She did the pink/purple Super Bee and mine is the Blue/Gold GTX. They are both box stock builds, with simple painting techniques implemented. There are some flaws on mine, lack of paint on the tail lights, missing battery, and a couple other things. Hers on the other hand, is quite nice compared to the GTX. This was her first model. comments and criticism are welcome....enjoy

Aww... so cute!

Both look like great looking builds.

Why didn't you paint the rear lights... looks kinda weird.

Re: His and Hers Mopars

Her first, huh? I didn't get a shine that good until...yeah, my last model! Hey, a little tip, have her take a toothpick and knock the paint of the bolts on those wheels. It'll really make 'em *pop.*

Hehe, I see she was sure to add coolant! (dilute the paint a little more and it'll be perfect)

Yours looks good too, but I think maybe you had a little tape issue on the door? And is that a yellow oilpan? Interesting. I like the overspray on the undercarraige.

Re: His and Hers Mopars

yeah. mine had some definate issues. this is the 4th time the gtx saw paint and i gave up. lol. i forgot to mention that i did the exterior on her car, she picked the color tho, and IMHO with the black accents looks awesome. she was scared, and the color was nail polish...this was my first job with nail polish. as for the oil pan. i wanted it to resemble a canton type drag race pan, they come gold anodized. thanks for the tip on the coolant wash.........i forgot about the coolant catch can, and actually told her to use the clear blue for a windsheild washer bottle. lol. thats typically on the driver's side
