Ok guys, time to get the Blazer forum organized.

I have been upgraded to Moderator for this forum and over the next while I will be compiling and organizing the forum to save a lot of trouble for people asking the same questions over and over again.

This will make this forum more enjoyable and will decrease the frustration of having to explain a fix over and over again to new members.

Let me know which fixes should be compiled in one master list.

Re: Ok guys, time to get the Blazer forum organized.

I have seen several people since I joined asking about overheating colling systems and how to flush them.

Also maybe a sticky for performance links/questions?

good one about the 97 ignition change.

Also though just thought of maybe including one for the different oil whether to go synthetic or not. Pretty sure that has been discussed numerous times.

You could check into that thing Turbocpe was saying about displaying the vehicle information under the avatar, so we don't have to go to their profile if they forget to tell us.

What all can Moderators do? Can you change that thing under my name to say "Asshole" instead of "AF Enthusiast"?

Re: Ok guys, time to get the Blazer forum organized.

Well I am always looking for visual upgrades too. Interior stuff, rims, body kits, light upgrades. I plan on keeping this Blazer for a while so I want it to look nice. Usually ending up going to Ebay and you never know what you are going to get there. Maybe a parts review section of some kind describing the part, and where you got it from?

Congratz on your promotion.

1. Info on manuals and where to get them.
2. CPI - symptoms, p/n's of replacement parts, "how to"
3. Heater core - symptoms, how to test, how to replace
4. Basic maintenance schedule - what to change and how often
5. Fluid recommendations
6. Info on Dexcool vs. Old Green vs. New Prestone yellow
7. Other good chevy forums on the internet
8. Cool air intake systems - benefit, where to get

Sorry but this is all I could think of at the spur of the moment.

How about a "DOH!" section on common mistakes to avoid?

Stripping the T30 holding the fuel lines in place comes to mind...
