Angry 96 cavalier probs

i need some help. my car will not start, but its cranking really great.ive changed the fuel filter and turned the key to see if the fuel pump was pumping gas and it was. it has new spark plugs and wires. now my question is is the ignition coil and coil packs the same thing? i have no clue . i can do most repairs if i know what im deealing with.i see where they are but i just want to be sure if they come off together or seperate. any help or advice from this point. by the way its 96 cavalier 2.2

Pull one of the plugs ad make sure it is gettig spark before you replace the whole coil pack. Also while you have a plug out, crank the engine ad see if you have gas getting to that cillinder.
