Arrow MUGEN CRX...a couple of pics!

hey i haven't been doin much lately so i decided todo a concept sketch of what I would do to a CRX(when i get one!) MINUS the colour of course. Girlfriend decided on the colour for me lol.
anyways here are the pics:
91 CRX Si w/ Mugen Flare kit and carbon fibre Canards and black housing lights all the way around....no wheels yet not done!

and to give you an idea of scale here it is with a pencil on it....

and one more pic....

anyways tell me how you like it....
and in REAL life i would paint it either a dark blue or a dark red.....or maybe even championship white pearl.....i dunno. well tell me what i could improve on....thanks!

Re: MUGEN CRX...a couple of pics!

well, the ellipses on the b/w one seem a little...chunky, and the rear ellipse in the colored one seems to be at the wrong angle, just my opinion, but they look good

I love crx's I have an 89 si and I should be getiing my mugen kit in a couple of days, yay! As for the drawing it is dang near flawless, except for the wheels. I like the style of it it has "personality"

Yup the crx body is tight.

I would luv to get a CRX, probably the best bang for the buck.
I always see hopped up CRX's for sell.

Invested 10K must sell for 5-6K, man talk about a deal for the buyer.

Always try to buy someone elses project.

I think what happens is peops do the motorswaps and what not perhaps turboed and then realize it is no fun to have such a small car useually w/o A/C and such and then have to sell it for cheap.

Now if peops had two cars to drive, one daily and one fun ride (crx) that would be better.

Great drawing.

i was going to buy a 91 crx si through a friend of a friend ,but the day b4 i went to go look at it the guy sold it. i worked and saved all summer to buy it. so i bought a body kit for my accord instead... anyways! the back wheel of the front view one is off ,and i would try to flatten the bottom of the back bumper on the back view one. I realy like the style of the back view one. i think the thick lines look cool.

Re: MUGEN CRX...a couple of pics!

i like the drawings. make sure on your finished one you concentrate on getting the straighest lines possible. that and the wheels of you drawings are the only two things that really stand out to me. but awesome idea, cant wait to see the finished result

you have a cool style or "look." work on your elipses, though. they're not cool. refine that, and you have a great thing going on.

i'm a nismo fan all the way (go Kazama!!! D1 gran prix champion at Irwindale last nite>>>i was there!!!)-- but, at this time, let us look at his drawing ability and style and skill instead of the manufacturer.
