'96 Chevy S-10 throttle limiter
Ok, I drive a 1996 Chevy S-10 w/ 4.3l Vortech V-6 engine and a standard 5 speed transmission (just getting all that technical crap outta the way), heres my question: how do you remove (or at least adjust) the throttle limiter? The truck stops accelorating at 95 mph, I assume because of the limiter, but then again, being new to playing around with my truck, I could be mistaken. So, double question I guess, does the S-10 have a throttle limiter, and if so, how do I remove it? Thanks a lot.

its not called a throttle limiter , its called a governer , every s-10 ive driven seems to hit fuel cut out at 100 , theres stuff out there , hyper techs power programmer , i know super chips has one too , only thing is , they arent cheap , but they dont just remove the governers , they can also make more power and recalibrate the ECU for bigger tires and iff gear ratios and so on
