Remove Tumbler

How do I remove the tumbler from the ignition switch in my '64 ChevyII?

if its the same as my 72 then you have to take off the steering wheel, the turnsignal cam, it unplugs at the base of the steering column, and whatever else is in the way then there will be a single screw, 1/4", that holds it in, unscrew it and slide it out.

ok after you unplug wires and unscrew/unbolt anything holding it in there is a small hole on the face plate get a paper clip or somthing small and stickit in there while you turn the key play back and forth till it releases
