Tire sizes

i was wondering if i would be alright to take 4 tires off an 89 camaro with the size reading of 215/65-15, and be able to put those on a 93 camaro and i guess the original tire sizes are 215-60-16, i would like to be able to know if those are a huge difference in tire sizes and would it handle any differnetly anything that would be bad i would like to know about thanks

The tires are the same width in a lower profile. The handling will be a tiny bit better.
The 16's will be only 0.59% larger in diameter. No need to calibrate your speedometer.

Re: Tire sizes

it's not difficult to understand what i said, i said i have the tires already, i don't want to mount them on 16 inch rims with 15 inch tires, i was wondering if 15 inch rims and tires would fit on it that's all

tire size is of no concern, as the two sizes are fairly similar

Wheel offset is quite a bit different from the 3rd gen to the fourth... about 2 1/2" i believe..

I think your 89 wheels might stick out too far and may/maynot rub on the fenders etc.. I've never (own known anyone) whos tried to put 3rd gen wheels on a 4th gen
