1988 bmw 735i A/c ports

I have a 1988 bmw 735i and the a/c ports are r12 i am converting them to r134 and just dont know wich port is wich because theirs one close to the fire wall and another in front of it wich one is the low side or high side so I can connect the fitting for the r134 chrger?
