O2 sensor or new engine?

http://oem.overnightautoparts....y=All

Oxygen Sensor - $435.81

Oxygen Sensor OE Connector - $352.11 (Not sure the difference between this and the top one)

^^ That or this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW

JDM Spec D16 ZC SOHC 1.6L Engine

Complete Head and Block

This engine comes used, but has been classified with less than 35K miles and includes our unlimited mileage warranty for SIX (6) full months.

Or if you guys decide on something else that is less than $1000 and can direct me to it, much appreciated.

Re: O2 sensor or new engine?

Go to Autozone or some place like that, get a Bosch O2 sensor.

So should I just go ahead and get myself a 4 wire O2 sensor and do exactly what this write up says?

http://hybridautomotive.com/tech/o2/#seven

I don't want more problems then what I already have. So if you guys know of any problems for this conversion, please reply.

Re: O2 sensor or new engine?

the o2 sensor you buy should already have instructions in them. follow them and you will be fine.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

So I just installed my new Bosch O2 sensor from AutZone thats cost $170 and the car doesn't bog or jerk anymore but now my CEL comes on all the time (before only at random times) and I still get the same code 48 and then a code 41 now.

41 Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater circuit malfunction

48 LAF Sensor (Lean Air Fuel) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

You guys think the CEL will go away forever if I reset the ECU or watever? Only thing I have to test now is if I get good gas mileage. But that CEL yellow light is pretty annoying.
