DIfferent Trims

Hey all i just wrecked my eclipse 2 weeks ago and looking for a nice new sporty car to play with. Dont worry, i *think* i learned my lesson. I been searching around the internet (yahoo/msn) and cant find the difference between the 97+ prelude trims. Theres base and SH. The base and SH has 200hp 14 and around 156 torque. Is the SH the luxury version or is there something i missed while reading the specs on it?

ps. thanks for any1 answering my question.

The SH and the base are the same except the SH has ATTS which applies more power to the outside wheel during turns to assist handling. SH stands for Super Handling and ATTS is Active Torque Transfer System or something like that.

Re: DIfferent Trims

Other differences are that the SH has a OEM body kit, rather than the ugly black trim on the bottom of the doors/bumers. It also has some beautiful 16'' 5 spoke alloys, a leather wrapped shift knob, and it only comes in manual.

Re: DIfferent Trims

If you're looking to mod the car, the SH has more limited options when it comes to mods. It handles better stock, much better from what i've heard, and has about 100lbs on the base 5th gen. Just a little info that changes some people's minds one way or the other.

Re: DIfferent Trims

Pretty much the SH is better if you're looking for a good handling car for AutoX or something. If you just wanna mod your car get a regular 5th gen base Prelude.
