True 7000K or 8000K HID Conversion Kit
Neon owners.
I e-mailed an importer of auto lightings: Xenon Bulbs, Real HID kits, gauges, etc... They have available brand new 7000K (blue hue) or 8000K (purple hue) HID conversion kits. Each kit comes with 2 Hella Ballasts (German made), 2 HID electrode capsules (bulbs), and all necessary wirings for easy plug and play installations. I went to their warehouse and saw a kit on their company car (2000 Accord). The color is beautiful! They have single beam sizes H1, H7, 9004, 9006, and 9007 available. Our Neons take size 9007. I discussed with them about getting a group buy set up on this forum and they will get back to me soon on the prices. Let me know if anyone's interested so I can give them an idea of how many people may be in our group buy so we can get the best prices. |

Hey whats up. I just installed a phillips HID kit on my 98 accord and the beam pattern is good enough but I want it to be better. How did th eone you saw on the accord look? Was the light equally spread out, or were some areas more intense than others? Also, did the accord have a projector or a reflector? Let me know, thanks.

Which Philips kit do you have?
The kit I saw was very nice and it stayed blue hue the whole time I was there. The left it on for like 20 mins and it was the same color when I left. I told them to send me a pic so I can post it here. Still waiting for their pricings. |

I think mine is near 5000K, it's pure white light just like the new acuras. There is a very big difference in the output of these lights when compared to the stock halogen bulbs. You almost don't even notice the light from the halogen bulbs next to the HID bulbs. I just wish that the light was focused better. I'm working on trying to find a projector out of a benz or something and then fitting it into my housing.

GB prices
Okay Folks....here's a really good deal I worked out for 9007 True 7000K or 8000K HID conversion kit that will fit our Neon.
The vendor said if we can get 6 buyers total (with 7000K-blue or 8000K-purple), we can get a very very low price of $399 plus shipping ($20) within 48 US states (HI,AK,Int'l higher shipping costs). They told me I should give them a response by 4/30. If I can't get 6 people, the price will be $449 plus shipping. Come on guys, get a kit for your car so we can get it for $399. I want one for my ride. They are going to forward some pic soon and I'll post it. This is cheap prices for HID kits. If you want a kit, just list your name under your reply post. 1. RedNeon - 8000K 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Thanks. RedNeon 6. |
