Re: dpfi questions
the anly way i see is if you weld in a new injector bung or modify the existing one. or if you do have the money for a swap but want to have fun while blowing the engine i will tell you what i did when my tracker was on the way out. this easily be done for 50-75 bucks i went to the jy and picked up a tubo and manifold(doesn't matter which car just a decent turbo) the go get three or four cold start injectors. put the injectors in the intake tube and weld the turbo flange off the minifold you got somewhere one you exaust(i did mine at the end of the header about 2.5 feet away from the block) then attach the turbo. well now your thinking what about thoil well i just filled it with synthetic oil stabilizer and welded the holes shut. then run charge lines and a way to turn on the injectors. i ran a switch one my dash, then a button under my gas pedal, then hooked my horn up to one. all in all this setup pulled hard while it lasted (two weeks and a half weeks and two turbos) WARNING DONT TRY THIS IF YOU LIKE YOU CAR
