War of The Worlds...AWESOME.....
First, i just want to say that this movie HAS TO BE SEEN in the theater-cause you need a big screen to capture its momentum.
I'm not gonna throw in any spoilers, but i just seen this and thought it was insane. Especially the noise the tripods make....everytime i heard that i almost wet myself, lol...

interesting so I far I've heard about 50-50 split opinions on this movie both on the extreme ends. Gull i"ll see it tomorow to make my own opinion.

I've heard it was really good, but i'm not sure i would be able to get past my annoyance with Tom Cruise.

Basically, go to the movie expecting a NEW, inventive movie...NOT A REMAKE.
ALOT of reviewers keep on comparing it to the original and the book that hg wells made in 1898. I cannot wait to see this again, it was that good. And like i said, this is a THEATER movie...like the movie Twister back in the day, it has to be seen on a big screen.

i can't stand all these overloaded CGI eye candy movies... like hitchhikers guide, batman begins, charlie and the chocolate factory. To me its like, we'll give you all the imagination so you don't have to use yours(if you actually have one).
i wont watch any of them, they just make me feel sick.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory is going to suck, Johnny Depp is stupid looking and scary at the same time, the movie is going to blow and thats all I gotta say about it.

I saw it, was pretty good, but have a question...why the hell would the aliens *****spolier*****
plant the ships underground and wait for millions of years to invade(mean while us getting stronger) instead of invading then?
