Electrical Problems with Sequoia?

I love my Sequoia but lately it has been doing some strange things. It is a 2003 Limited and only has 14,500 miles on it. I have had to call AAA three times because the battery drained to low to start the car. No doors were left open can't seem to figure out what drained the battery. Dealer said bad battery and replaced it....

Then my back hatch window went down a few times by itself. And yesterday the beep that happens when you unlock and lock the door continued to "beep" intermittently even though the keys were not being touched.

I have had the Traction light go on for a few days and then it went off.

My concern is my warrenty will be up and I will find I have a serious electrical problem. Any ideas? Anyone else had these problems?

check your remote make sure the keys are not jammed in. I have seen it where the doors will allways lock and alarm goes of while driving "lock" button was jammed on the remote. As for the trac light there is a bulletin on this to replace the translate ecu. For a DTC1349 I believe

We have a 2003 Sequoia and have had intermittent electrical problems. First time Toyota said they could not find a problem. Now we had a malfunction with lights. We literally could not turn the headlights off. If lights are left on, when you lock the doors with keyless remote they turn off. However, this did not turn of the lights. Opened the door to turn them off and the lights were turned off. I finally got the lights off. However, in the morning the lights were back on, but the nob to turn them off was in off position. We will see what they say this time.

I have my Sequoia in the garage again.. If the car sits unstarted for more then a week the battery drains completely. No power at all. This started while on warrenty but has continued. 40000 miles now .This is the third new battery, and last time they replaced an alternater also. I have had them check the total electrical system 4 times now. They have no Iidea what is causing it. It is getting so annoying to leave it on vacation to return to a DEAD car. I think it should be made a lemon and replaced. Anyone else heard of this?

I am not sure if it is too late for you but I think I can solve your problem. You have a weak or dying battery. Replace or fully charge the battery and it will go away. I have a 2002 Sequoia -100,000 miles. I have had this problem twice now. The first time the car had about 70,000 on it and the battery was weak. I knew the battery was old. I replaced the battery and this problem went away. Yesterday, I was working on a trailer attatched to the truck. I ran the battery down. Later my wife had problem starting the car but succeeded after one more try. When she came home, the automatic lights would not turn off. The parking lights stayed on no matter what we did. I went into the house. I could not remember when this happened last time. I told my wife to let the car run for 1/2 hour. I went out turned the car off. Whalla the automatic lights turned off. Then I said: "OH yeah. Dead battery lights stayed on. Now I remember. "
