D15b2 timing and gas pedal issues

okay,,,my engine gets really hot really quik now i mean my intake manifold gets some what hot as my excuast manifold..... and im burning fuel fast.....


okay i now when i push on the gas my engine rev's hard and the pedal sticks,,,, then if i use my hand to pull up on the gas pedal it runs fine...



could it be my engine timing or maybe my cable aint on the rite way... or i mite have over tighten it ....



also can some one explane to me how to do engine timing on a d15b2,,,,,some one said something about a timing lite but im not sure what thats for....
