328i 1997 Automatic Top Stuck, Most Uncool!

Friends & Brothers, I drive a 1997 321i convertible. The other day, I tried putting up the top, this was a year after I had someone replace the rear window (plastic). The top, which had lowered with no problems, stuck half-way on the way up. I used the tool to lower and lock it. I realize I will have to spend bucks to get it fixed but does anyone know what the Hell's wrong. HELP!
