lower control arm
alright my car has a really bad clunk when i shift and hit bumps i thought it was a strut but then when i went to put it on it wasnt bad but the lower control arm moves does that mean it needs a bushing for the back part of it so is it hard to change or what do you have to do

Re: lower control arm
J cars have alwasy had weak lower control arms. They are 2 stamped pieces welded together (spot welded). They rust away terribly.GM even recalled the 2nd generation J cars because they had some that werent welded together at all!
