I bought this kit in my LHS for $15 CAD (There was an exact same kit somewhere else on the same shelf selling for $50 !!! ) This metal version of the Impreza contains a usually impreza body painted with clear blue, which was first plated in chrome. However, it has a lot of imperfections such as intreated seam lines, dimples, and clear blue being too thin to see near the edge of each body panel. One would think that the quality of the body is just as crude as a normal edition Hasegawa Subaru Impreza WRX. This kit also has a very brilliant set of gold OZ wheels included.1. Does anyone know this kit is rare or not? 2. For anyone who had built or owned, or have looked through this kit, would/did you leave the body as is, or would/did you stripped the box stock chrome and paint, treated the body, then repainted it some other color? Please give some feedback. |

Re: Hasegawa Impreza Metal Plating Version
No, the kit is not very rare at all.
for more info on plated kits and whether to paint them or not, try the search feature.
