Throw out bearing lose '85 Dodge Power Ram
I have an '85 Power Ram 100 with a 318 4x4. I replaced the throw out bearing and now I'm having a problem getting it to fit right. The old one was just as loose as this one. The shaft is 1.0 inches wide while the bearing is 1.265 inches. Theres a quater inch of play! That's not right, is it? The bearing keeps sliping off of the fork and I can't keep it on. You'd think it's the wrong one, but NAPA says it's right, for every manual trans up to 1987 it's the same thing. HELP!!!!!!
