fuel presure regulator check??

ok i pulled the vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator ta check it and the idle did go up but then it dropped almost till stalling then backup n then down n then up n down repeatily,i have a 90 civic hatch with a vtec head how ever im still using the si (d16A6) injectors,ecu,dizzy when you do a mini me swap are you supposed to put on a bigger fuel rail or fuel pressure regulator or something?? my timing is dead on n i have good spark...thanx~marcus

i only ask becuz when i come to a stop sign and hold in the clutch and hit the brake the car stalls,but if i dont shift and then hit the brake the car doesnt stall (most of the time) and when the car does stall if u turn it over right away it just cranks but if u turn the key couple of times(2-3) like to hear the fuel pump come on n off,then it starts right up??does anyone kno??
