Question Fattest Tires?

Whats the widest tires i could put in the rear end of my iroc?

crap, i put this somewhere on the forum..... there was an issue of hot rod where they measured this out, do a quick search on tire in the forum and see what you can find. its in here somewhere.

1st Generation ’67-’69 Camaro

so to answer your question, with mini tubs in the back, you could run 11.5in wide tires.

no idea, but probly a few hundred bucks, seeing as there is metal work, welding, and fabrication inolved. also youd have to take out the rear suspension components to get to the area that needed to be worked on.

personally, im running the factory rims with the 245 sized tires, and they look bad ass, and have plenty of grip for traction, unless youre putting down a butt load of power, you really dont need the 11.5in tire and its going to hurt your gas mileage with the large contact area and wind resistance. (think im BSing, look at solar powered cars, 1in wide tires)

I know the stock iroc tire size is awesome!! Tires are f****** huge and it does look badass!! I hate small tire sizes on certain cars, it just doesn't look right.
