Re: Looking for an intake for a 92' RS
looking for a stock replacement or a high performance upgrade???
for stock replacement, i would look at www.gmgoodwrench.com www.paceparts.com www.sdpc2000.com for performance upgrade www.jegs.com www.edelbrock.com link http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...l-inject.shtml very top of the page. its under manifolds rather than intake.

wait thats not what im looking for.. im looking for the air filter, the bigass circular thing that sits ontop of the engine, im looking for a perforamce verson of one of them.. i thought they were referred to as intakes? Aparently i was wrong?
on the edelbrock page you sent me they look something totaly different then what im looking for. |

Re: Looking for an intake for a 92' RS
ohhhhh, just call it an air cleaner assembly, when you say intake, i think of the intake manifold. and as i said in the PM i sent, the parts you are looking at are dress up, not really performance. The factory setup will provide much colder air to the engine than that setup. you would be better off keeping the factory assembly and buying a high flow air filter from K&N or Air Hog.
