Best Catback system performance wise?

Okay. What is the best catback to get to get the best performance from?

Your going to get a lot of different answers.
I don't know which is THE best, but I'd choose from Apex'i, Greddy, Thermal R&D or Tanabe. And you can't go wrong with Mugen either.

Okay, and out of those, which has the most mellow/deep tone. Not like a bumblebee

rein, you're going to get a million different answers. my advice to you is to hear them for yourself, cuz everyone has different taste. i've been looking for exhaust too, and everyone says something different. personally, i've narrowed it down to tanabe.

I would go with the Greddy because they are very quiet but very throaty. If you are running a F/I setup then I would go with the Greddy PE that is what I am running right now.

If your looking for a deep tone exhaust, I would go with either the Apex'i N1 or the Greddy. Both are pretty deep tone. I've never heard a Thermal, but I've heard at high speeds it sounds pretty mean.

Tanabe's and also the Apex-i have a high bumble bee type sound. The greddy's don't have that at all they are very quiet that is why they are 50 state legal and the Greddy PE is a has large piping for Turbo and other F/I setup's

yes they are 50 state legal. i've only heard the racing medallion and that is f*ckin loud. i heard the others made by tanabe are quiet and deep.

see what i mean? some people say tanabes sound like bumble bees, others say greddy does (not on this thread but i've heard that from other places).

I have A'pexi dunk, and to me its not bumble-beeish at all.
It's real deep except when I hit vtec, but everyone knows when you are in the high end your car screams anyways, i havent got in any trouble yet for it, and I'm hopnig it will pass inspections with my aem cai. if i were u id get apexi n1, only because of its setup, and it looks niec as hell, but only bad thing is that u cant drop ur car too low or the n1 cat will scrape like anything!
well thast my opinion.

Have you considered a 5 zigen catback exhaust? I've been pretty pleased, and it doesn't have that bumble bee sound. It's pretty deep and loud. I can't wait to hear it after my engine swap is complete. I can't really compare it to other brands, but I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Wait...why is this in a turbo/nos/ supercharger forum?? If you have turbo then go with Thermal Research and Development. They make 3 inch piping for FI applications.
