Angry This Is Driving Me Insane

I've got this noise coming from my left rear tire, so it seems it's coming from there. I can't hear it unless if my window is down and I'm cruising next to something, i.e. road barricades. And it isn't that loud. I can't hear it at high speeds, normally going 5-30mph. It isn't constant and keeps with the rotation of the tires/axles like something is rubbing. I don't think it's my brake, I probably should replace them anyways, but I've braked hard trying to lock up the brake and stop the noise but it continues as normal. Unless if my caliper is fucked and won't clamp down. I've looked all around the tire and it's not rubbing on anything. It's driving my nuts though !!! any ideas what it could be? If you need more info I'll give the best I can oh..it doesn't wobble or anything while braking, it doesn't wobble during accelerating or cruising, it drives perfectly fine. Except when I get above 110mph hehe but that's only because of the tires.

Also there's one more noise that I'm not as scared about but I don't like it. I'll be cruising around 20 in the parking lot, let off the gas to turn the corner, then step on the pedal slightly again and I hear this clunk in the rear end. Is that normal wear of the gears or is that sound not supposed to be there?

It's a 98 Camaro Z28 stock rearend, rims, tires, everything. Due for a rearend oil change.

Re: This Is Driving Me Insane

sounds like a bushing problem. both the noise and the clunk. the dealerhip has a tool that helps locate sounds like that, thats how i suggest finding it.

Re: This Is Driving Me Insane

my tires don't even have 10,000 miles on them yet, way under. It could be a bad batch though. I've been wanting to get the polygraphite bushing kit from PST....is the kit worth it or should I go with polyurethane? If it's the bushing this kit should fix it perhaps? hopefully and the car jolts when the clunk happens...you sure it could be the bushing...that's kinda iffy. But then again my Sunfire had a bad bushing in the front front end and it totally messed up the handling. Bushings are very important! Moreso than I ever thought Thanks for the tips!!
