Corvette wheels on a 1972 Monte Carlo

Hello...I am new to the Automotive Forum...I need some help if anyone can help me..I building a 72 "SS" Monte Carlo...I know...Chevy did not make 1972 SS Monte Carlo...Well I thought since I had a big block 454 in the garage and a 72 Monte Carlo behind the garage...I said WHY NOT..I am looking at a set of C5 1997-99 Corvette OEM Wheels..17 x 8.5 in the front..18 x 9.5 in the rear....Boy now would that be something different...Well I know I would have to put adapters on front and rear...But my question is how thick of adapters will I need to make the coversion work...Hopefully someone has tried this before and maybe they could let me know ASAP before I buy the wheels....At the price that I am getting them for...I got to get them quick....Thanks.....CCJ..
