Cracked side skirt

The idiot that had my camaro before me ended up putting a crack in one of the sideskirts. Its split left to right, not up and down. I was wondering if anyone knew of an easy, non costly quick fix for this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Cracked side skirt

Is it cracked along the bottom(nonvisible) or the side(visible)?
If its down the side, then any fix you do will require repainting, so I would just go to a salvage yard/pick-a-part to get another and have it repainted.
If you want it to look good, it will need to be painted to match the car and do you really want to pay to have a broken part painted?
However if you are bent on fixing the one you have, you could try using fiberglass to fill up the crack and clamp it lightly with slide clamps, or just set it between a couple boxes, then after it dries, sand it down like you would bondo.
Ive seen tubs of fiberglass at OSH before and Im shure they would have it at most hardware stores.
Hope this helps
