Question is this a good amp to power some phoenix gold speakers?

i am looking for an amp to power a pair of phoenix gold 6x9 qx692's http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/PHOQX692
and a phoenix gold component system
http://www.sounddomain.com/shop/item...160&vq_id=none
i found this amp at a really good price. will it be a good amp to power my speaker set up ONLY.the amp is not for anything else but my speakers.

that amp is good enough for the speakers. if you want 4 speakers, then this amp will not do because it's only a 2 channel amp. you'll need a 4 channel amp if you want to run 4 speakers. even if you decide to get the amp, make sure the gain is low because this amp puts out 125x2@4ohm.

btw..those speakers are nice!

u see i was told on here that it didnt matter if it was a multi or 2 channel amp. so i would need a four channel amp to power each speaker right? the 2 rear deck ones and the 2 kick panels?what is the dif. if the gainis low?what would be a good amp for low gains.like what numbers show it has low gain.
125x2@2ohm or what?

Yeah GSteg isnt using his head right... you can run 4 speakers off a 2 channel amp, it just drops the ohm load down to two ohms... personally, if you are trying to get good sound out of your speakers, DONT get a two channel to run 4 speakers. I mean, its not going to make massive differances dont get me wrong -- it will be HELLA better then stock (sorry had to say it) -- but if you want the better option, go with a 4 channel to run 4 speakers... and why not pickup a QX series amp to match your QX series speakers? *wink wink*

exactly what i'm trying to say ...you'll want a 4 channel amp instead of a two channel. i just didn't mention about the ohm because it might be too confusing for the newbie :finger:

ahh yes....that amp will be perfect..sorta..but in your case..it will be fine. 50x4watts RMS should power those speakers nicely.
