Question Poll: Rear sway bar - on, off or quick disconnect?

After seeing many posts regarding this issue, and being curious about it myself, how many of you have removed your rear sway bar? I'm thinking about quick disconnects down the line...possibly from a tax refund. We'll see.

I wouldn't waste your money on quick discos for the rear bar. You feel very little difference when driving with no rear sway bar. There are much wiser choices for which to spend your "mod money."

This was

the easiest mod I ever did..... pulled it off and threw it in the garage. Done. Instant additional flex.

This is a no-brainer...
Take it off. Drive around a few days or weeks.
No problem? Done!
Don't like it? Put it back on and consider disconnects.

i know, i know

It's been covered several times, but I was interested in numbers. People may be more likely to vote than actually post. Thanks for voting.

As I posted in the other forum. I'm running Bilsteins with the swaybar still on. The right Bilstein is upsidedown.
My question is... Does anyone have the Calmini Quick Disconnects on their X right now with aftermarket shocks??
If so, Would they or wouldnt they recommend them??
I do a lot of street driving and at least once or twice a month go offroading.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not to be a dick...

Shouldn't this be "who removed their rear sway bar"? When I read it I thought you were talking about front and rear. Or, maybe I am a dick.

I apologize for my ignorance...read the message title. I can't change the poll question after the fact. Schlud?

I'll let you know. Just ordered the large body rear Bilstein shocks and will be installing them next weekend. Interested to see how the X will perform without the rear bars.

Talking

Took mine off this weekend. It had dented my stock shock and I thought I'd see what the difference would be without it. I've driven over 100 miles since, up to 85 mph - I can't feel a difference. As far as I'm concerned, it can stay off.

Exactly what I was thinking ... who has more than one rear sway bar?
