arrgghhhh help

ok ok ok my mother was picking me up from school and on our way out we were second in line at the stop sign in her new envoy. i guess a kid in an old buick or something like that ( a beat pos) i guess he was not paying attention and bumped her from behind so we are up to the sign now take off to the right. (so we dont hold up traffic ) and the lil dick takes off to the left ... there were a few scratched on the bumper and all but i think the hitch saved our bumper. so i am wondering would this be considered hit and run i mean no major damge was done . but the lil mofo took off. not even stopped to see if we were alright. i need some advice on this because i will be seeing him and his car next week and i am extremely pissed off at the current moment any ideas of what to do ???

sorry if i caused any banage or soemthing but i am really agitated at this moment and dont have alot of time to post .

It's a hit and run, report it to the police ASAP.

I don't know, if you guys pulled up to the light and then turned then maybe he thought you guys were leaving, but I doubt that, I'd say that he purposely took off. Not all the blame can be on him though, if it was at a stop light I don't care if there are 50 cars behind me, I would have gotten out to at least get his license plate, and tell him to follow me close to a drive way or something, would have taken less than a minute.

Re: arrgghhhh help

viper has a point, although I can understand you wanting to clear out of traffic so some numb-nuts doesn't rear-end the first guy to smack you again.

But, definately, leaving the scene of a motor-vehicle accident. But if you don't have plates on the pos driver to find him, let it go, you going nowhere with it, sigh.

Re: arrgghhhh help

Was there any paint transfer from his car to yours? That's the only way the police could do anything.
