XJ6 1995 misses over 3000RPM

Hello,

I fond a nice Jag as a daily driver and intend to buy it. On HWY I noticed if I accelerate it stuttle and backfires over 3,000RPM. I imagine a FI problems. Does someone knows what is the cause of that behaviour.
