Google earth, Mclaren F1 related spots

I haven't this here before I think.
Could be fun.. or am I just bored...
I'll start with a pretty famous and awsome place... Ehra Lessien, Volkswagens test track in Germany. Pretty nice resolution aswell.
"look at the size of that thing".. almost 10km from end to end.
Too bad you can't attach stuff

Latitude: 52°38'24.58"N
Longitude: 10°45'42.30"E

So, post away... opcorn:

/Edit: ...and I spelt Volskwagen wrong again...

/Edit nr2 ... added picture

Re: Google earth, Mclaren F1 related spots

there was a post a while ago that showed the location of the sultan of bruneii's garage.

interesting idea...
the factory and service centers would be cool to know. places where mclarens have raced, crashed, appeared at car shows, been put on sale, etc.

I can't really take credit for this - someone else posted it here once before - but this is the location of the original McLaren Cars factory on Albert Drive in Woking.

The similar shot I have of the new McLaren Technology Center shows the site prior to construction getting started. Someone should check that again, maybe they have taken a more recent pass over it.

FYI Genesis is slightly to the East. See the RED "X"

And given I've seen (what I believe to have been) Flemkes car outside that building Im going to go out on a limb and assume thats also the Service Centres location. It was partially covered over, but I could see the disctinctive Blue.

BTW the Blue "X" is the Mercedes SLR McLaren Service Centre.
