Hello all- I had my Pathy broken into and my stereo stolen. I bought a new stereo and now all of a sudden no power. I checked all the fuses and all are good. I did hear a relay click in the engine compartment on the left side as I touched different wires. The large plug on the left is the one I wire the stereo harness to. The middle sized one has 5 leads. Four are for the rear speakers that are supposed to go through a rear preamp somehow. I was told that they were bypassed somehow and so I ran new wires to new rear speakers. The small plug I have no idea what is for. Somehow I feel I am missing a fuse somewhere. Or is there another fuse box that I am unaware of? Can anybody help?

Re: '91 Pathfinder electrical problem
Did you check the fuse terminals to see if they were hot? Fuse T is constant voltage, pull the fuse, see if one of the terminals is hot. Fuse A is switched ignition voltage, pull the fuse, turn on the key, see if one of the fuse terminals is hot.
You can go to the12volt.com they have some stereo information. You can scroll down the page, find your make, follow the pages, find your year and model, the stereo link should be in the right hand column. I don't know how accurate their information? Plus, they have Q&A forums. |

Re: '91 Pathfinder electrical problem
I was looking at a wiring diagram for the radio system, four speaker. It showed fuse A and Fuse T in the fuse block. It also listed fuse F for the amplifier. That's just what the wiring diagram showed. Did you look at the info at (the12volt.com) ?
