Cranking no Starting
Here it goes. I was driving home from work in my 97 eclipse spyder 2.4 and the car just died. So i looked into it and my balance shaft belt broke, but in the process it broke my crank position sensor in two. So i replaced the belt, the sensor,and tried to start it up and nothing
 . Its cranking over but not starting. Im getting fuel and spark, and i also replaced the cam sensor and still nothing.If anyone could help point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it. I miss driving my car dearly. ow ya it seem like its cranking funny like its whinning.Thanks.

This belongs in Problem Diagnosis, next time use the correct sub-forum please. Run a compression test and let us know what you get for numbers, I'm willing to bet you jumped timing and bent some valves.
