How Do You Remove The Signal Light off a Bumper on 99 Eclipse Spyder GS?

Just got my clears


Btw, I tried doing a search before posting but didnt find any instuctions on how to do this.

It pops out. On one side is a metal clip, on the other side is a plastic tooth. Push on the metal side (from behind) until it pops out. It's idiot proof.

Even if you break the plastic piece by pushing on the wrong side, the clears already have that piece. You won't hurt the urethane bumper, either.

It was pretty easy, just use a flat head screwdriver and put it inside a sock and just pry it off. Then the lens just twists off the wiring harness. Pop your new bulbs in if you got them, twist it back on, and it pops in place.

Are they suppose to blink when I hit the signal light? Mines don't, they just stay on when I turn on the headlights.

Some people claim great hp gains from this type of mod. Like a 20% increase over the shitty stock lenses.

No not really, they are mostly just for looks.

The side lenses add visibility on the road. Clears have no practical advantage over ambers, though. I think they make my car look clean. Not a big deal, though.
