Re: FMU question

FMU ? what does that stand for ? fuel line connect to pumps, tanks fuel filters, eithere carburettors/inectors (if injectors most likely through a fuel rail) fuel pressure regualtors, lots of parts are connected to fuel lines, probably many more parts than i've listed.

What vehicle??? The FMU in a saab that I used to own, hooked to the fuel, the air inlet system, and had a wiring harness connected. Vehicle make and model could be a major factor in the hookups.

Oh come on. If you want useful answers, ask detailed specific questions. If you want to be cryptic, no one's going to try to bother figuring out what you might or might not want to know.

You'll get out of this forum exactly what you put into it.

Tank-Filter-FMU-Fuel Rail
On The FMU, One Line In(Fuel) One Line Out To Fuel Rail(Injectors)
One Line Out To Fuel Return Line(Back To Tank)One Small Line To Vac(Intake Manafold)

This Taken From Vortech FMU Install Guide
Hope This Helps
