1g horsepower

how much horespower does the 1g gsx eclipse have, and do they suffer like the stupid 2g eclipse does with crankwalk i am new and still don't uderstand this crankwalk crap it seems like you can't modify the car without worrying about this crankwalk stuff and is there away of stoping this crankwalk stuff from happing??????????????????????????

A 1g GSX has roughly 190-hp flywheel. About crankwalk, it's really more of a 2g problem. I'm not sayin' it's inpossible to get it on a 1g, but it's just not common. If fact, you could get crankwalk on just about any vechicle, it's just more common on 2gs.
I wouldn't worry about it myself, if it happens, it happens.

It's primarily happened on the 2gs, but the 1g 7-bolts have been also known to have it. Just b/c you mod your car doesn't mean you'll get crankwalk. Only something like 15-17% have had it. There are ways to prevent it. Such as new crank bearings, disabling your clutch start up switch, & decent vehicle maintenence.
