Re: sil80/rhd conversion

you can buy used 180's from japan for less than a grand. Additionally, if they are salvage.. it'll be dirt cheap ... plus you don't need anything to legalize them since it's just parts.

we live in america though, whats the real point in doing the RHD conversion? IMO since we drive on the opposite side of the road its a waste of money...Unless, you want it to be that JDM which is kinda stupid, but just do what sr20det said =)

What a brilliant idea... in fact, I'm sure the police won't care about you just swapping VIN's like that. Not that it's illegal or anything.

Or how about illegally importing a car, lets add that to your wrapsheet as well.

Oh how about driving a car with no insurance, and no registration! That'll spice things up a bit.

Not that they could actually prove you did it. i mean if all the vin placards are on the 180 how could they prove otherwise? i mean have somebody 'steal' the 240, and have it end up torched and say it was the 180. or better yet like roll the 240 ndown a hill and have it compactedand say you destroyed your 'race car' well racing and had it demolished. I mean really, how could they prove other wise?

Re: sil80/rhd conversion

Elitist is right one this one, it's stupid and illegal and I'm sure someone is going to do it and not get caught, but that doesn't mean it's legal or a good idea. You get caught and you're totally fucked, it's not worth it. Move to Canada and import one legally instead.
