Fujimi Gallardo

Now when this kit was first released this year I thought - "I have loads of kits at the moment, it's brand new, I'll wait a while!"

However, I now have a friend in Japan who is shipping me kits on the cheap.

Can I find anyone who has this kit in stock - in any form (egear, standard etc..)
Can I hell!

Media Mix doesn't have it.

Please does anyone know where I can still get this kit - i'll order it now?

I'm only 6 months into this modelling hobby, can any of the more experienced modellers tell me if this is standard? Should I always try to get in early?

I've just ordered a 612 scaglietti in case i miss this as well!

Thanks

Re: Fujimi Gallardo

try this
http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ12213
or this
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/inde...no=&Typ1_c=102
both services seem very good though the latter seems cheaper, its just up to you.

Re: Fujimi Gallardo

Thanks fieldmarshall, I swear I looked through HLJ and 1999 and none were in stock.

1999 seem to have std and egear in stoock - anyone comment on differences between two (apart from paddles).
Also is the only difference for deluxe version the p/e set?
If it is can't I just get an Acu stion mechanical parts kit or something similar?

Re: Fujimi Gallardo

The e-gear version includes both the e-gear configuration and the standard shifter. It also includes both the clear and louvered engine covers. Molded in orange.

The standard kit includes both shifter configurations and the louvered engine cover only.

If you get the e-gear kit you can make all possible configurations of the car except the roadster.

Just checked, they don't ship outside of the US - there seem to be an awful lot of US shops that don't ship outside the US - seems strange!

I think I'm destined to miss this kit - really sounds like it's the e-gear version I want!

Re: Fujimi Gallardo

Well not sure if you are interested but I just bought the e-gear version form a seller in Hong Kong (ebay).
Also ordered 348 spider (my shopping habit must end!) not sure if it's a good kit but hey, time will tell!

Can anyone comment on whether it is worth getting a p/e set for the lambo?
I've just had my first experience of p/e when building Tamiya 2004 Rally Japan scooby and I love the extra dimension it adds!
