blower motor
96 3.0 engine. Blower motor is worn out. Brushes are on the tiny side. Have 360K on engine so fan had lots of hours. Have tried to clean the armature and spray the area. Did work for a while but now nothing. How do you get it out? Can't seem to get it far enough without hitting the fan to the condensor??. Should I pry the fan off the motor? It's hot so a fan would be nice at least to blow the hot air around.

This might help. There is a nut on the fan holding it to the blower motor if you pry on that it might stripe the threads off the stem. If you can take your time it will come out might be alittle hard but will come out. Let me know if i can help anymore thanks travis
