He's a moron. Show him the manual and make him put it together right.

On the other hand, you're showing already how good you are.......

There should be a picture or diagram of the tranny to look at when you put it back together. He shouldn't have to remember all of it. Still, people need to get their act together and pay attention. I hope he doesn't become a mechanic any time soon until he knows what he's doing.

I offered to install a mates stereo for him a while back, but the place he bought the stereo gear from offered to install it free, so he got them to do it. He ended up getting the car back a day later than promised, and they told him his amp was fucked because 1 of the speakers wasn't working. They said they could replace the amp for $600 installed which he declined. Brought it back to me and I looked at the speaker, looked pretty fine, looked at the wiring, + to - and - to + fi....... wait a second.....! Dickheads got their wires mixed up. He has never gone back there and any new part he gets get installed by me (usually for a pack of smokes, or a carton/bottle).

Re: dumbasses should'nt be allowed to work on cars.

So, is he just ignorant/inexperienced, or is he just a pain in the a$$?
