Question temp gauge and gas gauge

im having trouble with my gauges... first off i drive a 88 dx hatchie.. well i took the cluster gauge from my bro crx si... i install the cluster and the rev works fine and the speedometer is okay but my temp keeps rising all the way to hot everytime i fire the car up... but my phantom temp gauge says that it is only at 100 degrees f. then my gas doesnt seem to be working either... so confusing... everything is plugged in i dont kno what the deal is with the temp and the gas gauge... any help will be appreciated..

Re: temp gauge and gas gauge

your other cluster still works fine right? id say the gauges are bad, you should try swapping out the temp/gas cluster section. then again, if you had another Si cluster to take that part out, you could just stick it in.

are the years the same between the clusters? because the wiring is different on 88-89 and 90-91

that whole section. but then again, if you swap that whole section, might as well swap a whole cluster.
