Unhappy 94 civic d15 problems!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 94 civic that I just replaced the old d16 motor and put in a jdm d15b motor. The problem that i am having is that the new motor will not rev up over 1500 rpms. And when I drive it and try to stay at constant speed it will jurk like it is out of gas, but I know its not. When I try to rev it up it sounds like it wants to die out. All the lins and sensors are in the correct place. What could be the problem?????????

could possibly be the ECU. I just recently did the same exact swap into my Civic. I haven't had any problems at all. Everything on mine was properly hooked up as well, and thus far, I haven't had a single problem. And I haven't gone further than 2000 miles with mine.

You could try Honda tech as well.

i just put that motor in my civic and i had the same problem. on the back of the intake there are at least 3 identical connectors for the sensors. the egr sensor you dont need there is no fitting so just remove it or tie it up somewhere. check that you dont have the TPS - MAP - IACV sensors switched. i had two switched on my car would not rev at all. you could drive it but it had no power and sounded horrible. the second i switched them it ran fine.
