Air Bong pic...

Black thing right in front of the wheel that looks like a mass of tubing.. Thats the bong below your stock air box for those who couldn't figure it out.

My car would be all fucked up if it was that low around here.

Re: Air Bong pic...

its probably got airbags or hydraulics to get it that low, meaning the car can be lifted when driving

Re: Air Bong pic...

duh...you would have to be pretty dumb to make a car that low permanently , well not without having to do a major suspension replacement every time is what i mean

No shit...just making a statement. I'm thinking of taking CRJ's advice and going for the 1.4" drop and am afraid of fucking my car up with that little of a drop. We have nothing but hills, curves and potholes here. Even fastfood restaurants have a steep incline to get into the parking lot

Re: Air Bong pic...

looking at how my car is sitting right now, would a 1.4" drop be good enough?

Eibach Pro kit and KYB AGX combo there... Honestly slamming your car does no good for it. Optimal drop for performance is 1.5"... Pro kit is 1.4"...

How much is that "setup" going to cost. Estimation and the cheapest place to get it?

Re: Air Bong pic...

If you can find the AGX's on e-bay they usually run around 380 for all 4 of them. Shipping is i don't know how much but you know ebay. Then if one of them blows, you have to go through KYB themselves. I paid 480 plus tax for mine from Advance Auto Parts, had a rear blow from some odd reason, and i had a replacement the next day. The Pro kit Advance Auto Price matched for me to $234 after tax and then i also bought new strut mounts off a renoun JBO member for 80 bucks for 4 of them. So i am pushing a little over 800 bucks for mine. But lemme tell you the ride is fucking amazing. I can't wait and see what she does on Watkins Glenn when i go there. Just an FYI, you are going to feel every imperfection in the road and its not longer soft compared to stock.

Re: Air Bong pic...

Thats not too bad I guess. I just can't wait to get it lowered after I get my rims. I just like how my car is a dark color and with some nice as bright rims, lowered.....it's going to look fucking awesome.

Still haven't figure out which rims I want though. I like so many, it's going to be such a hard decision.

I got Sprint lowering springs and Springtech (<-- ???) shocks and overall it dropped about 2" maybe a tad more. Its been on my car for over a year and havent had any problems with them. It takes bumps really well and doesnt bounce around after them, as a matter of fact, it rides better than it did with the stock stuff in it. It durastically decreased body roll in corners and really set off my rims. Thats what I would do... oh yeah I got it on eBay for $325 with shipping.
